Please contact ejournals@siumed.edu if you need help logging into your OpenAthens account.

Your OpenAthens account is essentially your library account. This account is used to authenticate your affiliation to the School of Medicine and is required for:

  • accessing online resources both on and off campus
  • requesting library books for pickup
  • renewing your books online

Faculty and students are emailed their OpenAthens credentials when they begin working or studying at the School of Medicine. Staff employees will need to contact the Medical Library directly for account information.

Logging in is quick and you will only be prompted to login once per browsing session.

Users are prompted to login to OpenAthens when accessing SIUSOM electronic resources.
