You can create a copy of your complete library as an .enlx file and then email the file to yourself or put it on a flashdrive. You can then open up this file on a different computer with the EndNote app installed.

Follow the instructions below:

  1. Open up the EndNote library you want to transfer
  2. Click on File > Compress Library (.enlx)
  3. Click Next
  4. Name your file and save it to your desktop
  5. Either email the .enlx file to yourself to save it to flash drive
  6. Open up EndNote on the second computer
  7. Download the file from your email or drag it to your desktop from your flash drive (do not try to open the file before doing this!)
  8. Double click on the download file to view the transferred library
